A beleza da Halloween Party

WOOHOO! It's Party time again!
Hudrow, my carniv pumpkin is sooo happy!

Today its Halloween Party at Fanciful Twist, and as you all know,
Vanessa's parties are unforgetable!

So I choose the best pumpkins I found ... to make lots of Jack' O lanterns
People have been making Jack o'lanterns at Halloween for centuries.
But many people don't know why!

I asked History Made Everyday to tell us:

"The practice originated from an Irish myth about a man nicknamed "Stingy Jack."

According to the story, Stingy Jack invited the Devil to have a drink with him.

True to his name, Stingy Jack didn't want to pay for his drink, so he convinced the Devil to turn himself into a coin that Jack could use to buy their drinks.
Once the Devil did so, Jack decided to keep the money and put it into his pocket next to a silver cross, which prevented the Devil from changing back into his original form.
Jack eventually freed the Devil, under the condition that he would not bother Jack for one year and that, should Jack die, he would not claim his soul.
The next year, Jack again tricked the Devil into climbing into a tree to pick a piece of fruit.

While he was up in the tree, Jack carved a sign of the cross into the tree's bark so that the Devil could not come down until the Devil promised Jack not to bother him for ten more years.
Soon after, Jack died. As the legend goes, God would not allow such an unsavory figure into heaven. The Devil, upset by the trick Jack had played on him and keeping his word not to claim his soul, would not allow Jack into hell.

He sent Jack off into the dark night with only a burning coal to light his way.
Jack put the coal into a carved-out turnip and has been roaming the Earth with ever since.
The Irish began to refer to this ghostly figure as "Jack of the Lantern," and then, simply "Jack O'Lantern."
In Ireland and Scotland, people began to make their own versions of Jack's lanterns by carving scary faces into turnips or potatoes and placing them into windows or near doors to frighten away Stingy Jack and other wandering evil spirits.
In England, large beets are used. Immigrants from these countries brought the jack o'lantern tradition with them when they came to the United States.
They soon found that pumpkins, a fruit native to America, make perfect jack o'lanterns."
I wish to decorate all my house for the ocasion, but

when I found this abandoned house at Planet Brenda , I thought:
"This is the perfect house to make a Halloween Party!"
don't you agree?

let me buy this witch to decorate the frontal roof and
I must have the big spider too!

Look at this door...Oh, my! I really love it!

It will fits perfectly with the entrance cemetery

and the ghost tree at the front yard .

But I didn't forget the house's interior

Halloween decoration

with those beautiful ornaments that I learned to do
at How Stuffs Works

I hope everybody love the decoration!

And now it's time to prepare the drinks and foods...

When my friends arrive, I will offer a rare and tasty wine,

red wine, of course, as red as a good old blood...

and speaking of blood, I will offer lots of Bloody Marys too!

To eat, we will have some delicious candies with Dragon's nail and vampire's teeth shape.

So yummy!

We will also have black chicken feather hours d'ouevres,

living pumpkins swets, and many other delicious Halloween foods!

prepared with love for my favorite witch Britta
who created an amazing Woman Sweet Ice cream Heart

at hers ancient brewer
See some other specialties from Britta:
Human Eyes globes, blue eyes or
black eyes of your choice!
pumpkin pastries

spicy bat wings
Spiderweb Brie En Croute

With all these delicious food, the party will probably goes for all night long,

and we will have lots of candles

in fancy candlesticks

and a nice mirror to everybody check the makeup and keep sure to have an horror
looking during all the party

Even Fluffy will be dressed for the ocasion,

with this beautiful ghost dress that I found at Planet Brenda

For the gardens lights, we will have lots of pumpkins from The Blog of Eternal Stench
from Halloween Tips

If someone needs to take a nap, there will be a guest room with a special rug

that my friend Fifi Flowers send to me

Now I just have to dress up

Do you like my hat? I made specially for this party!

These are my Witch shoes
And now I will seat at my special chair to wait my
friends , watching a fantastic movie that my friend Kathryn
has posted at her Hallowen Party - I recomend all of you to visit her delightful blog -
and let me use here, with Vincent Price narration. Enjoy it!

Wellcome my beloveds!
